I made this video in honor of Atkins Nutrition being purchased by Roark Capital Group, which also owns Cinnabon brand name. I made this copycat recipe to highlight just what is possible with Revolution Rolls, and provide a great Induction Friendly treat. On the Atkins Diet Facebook fan page, Revolutions are seeing quite the resurgence in popularity as well.
One of my other intentions was to clear up any confusion over the original recipe and how to make it. The original Revolution Roll recipe from back in 1972 had cottage cheese in it, but over time cream cheese replaced the cottage cheese. I have been making it this way for a long time. 3 eggs, separated
3 oz Cream Cheese
1 tsp Splenda or liquid equivalent
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar
4 oz Cream Cheese
4 TBS Butter
4 packets Truvia or 2 TBS Erythritol, powdered (run through Magic Bullet food processor)
4-6 drops of liquid Splenda -or- 4 packets of granulated Splenda 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 TBS Cream
2 TBS Water
Makes 6-8 servings.
