Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Chewy Garlic Cheddar Squares (E-IF)

Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Chewy Garlic Cheddar Squares (E-IF)

In partnership with FaveDiets, I am dedicating this video to Crystal Tripp, who was the first person to post a photo of the new Low Carbing Among Friends cookbook on the Facebook site. My daughter who just started the Atkins Diet wanted these for our Thanksgiving dinner meal. An Extended Induction Friendly is usually worth their weight in gold.  I really like recipes that I don’t have to depend on hard to get ingredients, so being able to substitute out the Carbquik for almond flour was big.  The fact that I could eliminate the gluten is also big idea for some people.

I noticed on some of your recipes it doesn’t list a carb count. Does this mean the net carbs are safe for induction or after?

If you are talking about this blog, that is a bug in the EasyRecipe software in showing the carb counts. I believe every single one of my recipes has a carb count in the video description on Youtube. Net Carbs actually have nothing to do Induction or the acceptable phase. Phase acceptability has to do with the ingredients not how many carbs are in the product.

You’re right, they do. I’ve been on Atkins since August 15th and have lost 50 lbs. Need to lose another 50. Love the videos and all the recipes. Thanks.
