Atkins Diet Recipes: Low Carb Pizza Quiche (IF)

I had previously made a quiche video recipe, but the sound was really difficult to hear.  It was also made with older recording technology and camcorder, so that didn’t help either.  I wanted to remake the recipe and slightly tweak it with new ingredients.  The short answer is with quiche’s if you like the ingredients, it’s likely they’ll work in a quiche.  This recipe is extremely easy to prepare and is very low maintenance.

An Induction Friendly entree that is extremely low carb and versatile
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • ½ small onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 4 oz pepperoni, diced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 509 Calories, 42g Fat, 4.3g Carbs (0.5g Fiber) , 26.5g Protein
  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. In a large frying pan, brown ground beef with onions, peppers, pepperoni, salt, and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add cream and pepper, and beat together. Add shredded cheese to egg-cream mixture.
  4. Grease a large casserole dish well. Layer the ground beef mixture, and then pour the egg cream over top.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes covered, and the final 15 minutes uncovered.

    Great recipe, but i tweaked it a bit, the quiche I made for the Entire thing was 1380 calories, 46.5 fat, 12 carbs and 8 fiber.
    I used 96% lean ground beef 1 lb = 560 cal and 16fat
    3 large eggs 210 cal 15 fat
    3/4 cup egg beaters 80 cal 0 fat
    4 oz turkey pproni 210 cal 12 fat
    8 oz polly O ff modz cheese 320 cal 0 fat 8 carbs (but 8 fiber)
    1/2 cup de fratelli pizza sauce 40 cal 4 carbs
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk 40 Cal 3.5 fat 0 carb
    and i added fresh garlic!
    (i did not count the onions or green pprs in the carb count)
    This recipe turned out sooo good, thanks for the recipe!!!!!!
